- Be committed and arrive on time. If unable
to play please notify your controller or team captain as soon as
possible. Pay the reserve fee if a reserve player cannot be
organised.
- Play by the rules and accept the referee's
decisions with grace. Spectators must also accept the referee's
decisions and are not permitted to take part in any dispute or
discussion between the players and the referee.
- Control your temper. Verbal abuse of
officials and/or other players, deliberately distracting or
provoking an opponent is not acceptable or permitted in any sport.
- Be a good sport. Applaud all good play
whether it be by your team or the opposition.
- Treat all players as you would like to be
treated.
- Support and encourage your teammates and
the Controller as well as all other players. Without them there
would be no competition.
- Uphold the spirit of masters and play for
the "fun of it". Players are encouraged to avoid over-zealous
(aggressive) play.
- Avoid the use of derogatory language.
- Watch the last match being played and
retire to the bar and supper when it is completed as each player
deserves gallery support.
